SanDisk have recently announced the Cruzer Titanium Plus, a 4GB USB flash drive that offers automatic online backup for every file copied to the drive.
The Cruzer Titanium Plus is the first flash memory product from Sandisk to offer online backup. If the user forgets to bring the drive with them, or the drive gets lost or stolen, the backed-up files can be quickly retrieved from any computer connected to the internet.
A personal password protected online account is required for the Cruzer Titanium Plus. Once the account has been activated, any documents that are on the drive are automatically updated online. If the computers internet connection isn't online when files are copied to the drive, the backup will automatically happen when the internet connection next goes online.
A lot of the motivation behind the development of the Cruzer Titanium Plus was from many users had told SanDisk that they were worried about losing their data.
