Gefen 2x1 DVI KVM SL Switch - USB 2.0

The Gefen 2x1 DVI KVM SL Switcher allows one DVI display, USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse to be switched between two cross-platform computers (PC or Mac). Stereo Audio signals can also be switched and are routed though with the video to the display.

This unit is a single link DVI switch, a term that describes the standard use of DVI with resolutions of up to 1920x1200. Dual link DVI is capable of resolutions of up to 3840x2400 and uses all 24 pins of the DVI connector.

Setting up the Gefen 2x1 DVI KVM SL Switch is a simple task that involves connecting your DVI display, USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse to the switchers outputs then connecting the DVI, USB and audio ports of both computers to the switchers inputs using provided cables. A supplied IR remote can then be used to switch between the two computers. Alternatively, the front panel push button or any contact closure remote control such as the Gefen RMT-2 may be used.

DDWG standards for DVI monitors are followed and display resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz are supported.

The Gefen 2x1 DVI KVM switcher is powered from a 5V power supply that is included with the package.
