StarTech USB to DVI and USB to VGA Adapters

Startech.com have announced the availability of new USB to DVI and USB to VGA adapters. These devices will allow users to conveniently add second or third displays to their computer.

Both adapters connect to a single USB 2.0 port on a host computer and can be used in addition to the existing VGA or DVI capability provided by an existing graphics card.

These devices provide a simple and versatile method of adding multi-display capability without the cost of additional video cards. The small size and portability of these devices will make them ideal for a wide range of applications where additional monitors are required.

USB to VGA Adapter
The USB to VGA adapter (USB2VGA) allows for the connection of up to five additional monitors when five USB2VGA devices are connected. This device offers display resolutions of up to 1600 x 1200 (32-bit) and up to 1920x1600 at 16-bit colour.

USB to DVI Adapter
The USB to DVI adapter (USB2DVI) also allows for the connection of up to five additional monitors when five USB2DVI devices are connected. This device offers display resolutions of up to 1600 x 1200 (standard) at 32 bits and 1680 x 1050 (wide) at 32 bits.
