Western Digital My Passport 320GB USB Hard Drive

The new My Passport Essential 320GB USB Hard Drives from Western Digital feature a sleek new glossy black finish and will easily fit in your pocket or the palm of your hand. These devices are light weight (105g) and USB powered making them highly portable drives.

The My Passport Essential drives come equipped with sync and encryption software (Windows only) to provide security for the many files that may be stored on the 320GB disk. WD Sync software allows consumers to take desktop content with them by simplifying the sychronisation of personal files and Microsoft Outlook data. Data on the drive is protected with 128-bit encryption. Google software is also included on the drive to let users quickly find files with the Google Desktop Search tool and manage photos with Picasa photo organiser.

No installation is required for the WD My Passport 320GB Hard Drives - they are ready to use from the moment they are plugged in. Compatibility is provided for Windows and Mac computers although the 128-bit encryption is only available with Windows.

The Western Digital My Passport Hard Drives are available now for US$199.99.

Specifications:
- Interface: USB 2.0 with a bus transfer rate of 480Mbits/s
