Sony PS-LX300USB Stereo Turntable


The PS-LX300USB USB Stereo Turntable from Sony allows you to transfer music from Vinyl Records to your PC, iPod or portable music player. Supporting a USB interface and Audio Studio software, the process of bringing your Vinyl albums to the digital world is made easy.

This device can also operate as a fully functional turntable, allowing you to playback Vinyl albums through your sound system. A moving magnet phonograph cartridge and built in phonograph preamp provide compatibility with AV receivers without a phonograph input. A belt drive system is used for rotational stability and reduced motor noise.

The Sony PS-LX300USB Stereo Turntable will be available from March 2008. You will be able to buy it at sonystyle.com for around US$150.

what would you recommend in terms of receiver, speakers, etc. for this turntable. Seems like it's a great price for a new user, but not sure what I should look for in addition.
